New Acropolis Honduras through its volunteering training program presented an introduction to Psychological First Aid (PAP), to a group of seventy people from various institutions.
The training was given by Psychologist and volunteer Elena Figueroa, who has more than 10 years of experience with non-governmental organizations focusing on social development and volunteering. The focus of the workshop was on how to provide first aid to restore emotional resilience in children, young people and adults who have suffered a traumatic event.
